Competition between these five companies for IPL title sponsorship

The race for the title of IPL sponsor for the 2020 season has turned out to be interesting, with five companies keen to become title sponsors after Vivo’s removal. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has received offers from five companies for the IPL, which runs from September 19 to November 8 for the UAE season.

According to the report, five companies are leading the race. The Tata Group, Reliance Jio, Patanjali, Edu Tech Platform Baizu and NA Academy submitted the Expression of Interest (EOI) on Friday. Although it has not been confirmed, the main fantasy gaming platform Dream 11 may also be included in the list. A Tata spokesperson said that the Tata group has shown interest in sponsoring IPL titles.

At the time of inviting the title sponsor last week, a BCCI official said that Vivo was paying Rs 440 crore, in which we could offer a discount of 30 to 40 per cent. It remains to be seen who among these companies will win the title sponsorship race.

The IPL 2020 season is to be played in the UAE instead of India. The BCCI has made all preparations for this. A top BCCI team will arrive in Dubai in the third week of August, and can go there and do Reiki of all the places connected with the league. The 13th season of IPL is to be played in Dubai this time due to Cavid-19, the league matches will be played here in three cities Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah from September 19 to November 10.

According to the Gulf Times, IPL chairman Vrujesh Patel, BCCI interim CEO Hemang Amin and IPL CEOs will have to stay in quarantine for six days in their hotel rooms after arriving in the UAE. Later he will be able to go to work. The BCCI has received the green light from the Government of India for hosting the IPL in the UAE.
